Trick your teens

Washing & drying denim jeans uses alot of electricity in comparision to other items of clothing. I first tried to persuade my teenagers that their jeans don't need to be washed after every time they are worn especially if they are clearly still clean (this advice was ignored). If I find a clean looking pair of jeans in the laundry pile I just fold them up neatly and put them in their room with the clean washing- and they never notice and are happy that they didn't have to wait long to have their favourite jeans back in their wardobe.
