Run cars on water - Yes Water

Water is made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen. Develope a process that can seperate the Hydrogen from the Oxygen. Develope Gas Turbines that can run on hydrogen and use to power generators.
Miniturise the Hydrogen / Oxygen seperation process such that it can be installed in cars, trucks, buses and ships. The resultant exhaust from the engines would be Water thereby greatly CO & CO2 emissions - the biggest cause of supposed Global Warming. The water can be recycled by the process thereby not being totally dependent on global conditions.
For vehicles the process may need to be started using batteries but thereafter can be self substaining - possibly using heat input from the exhaust.
