Heat your house with a cooling fan

If you only have one source of heat in your house, i.e. heat pump, log burner or fixed gas heater, you can distribute the heat through your entire house by running a cooling fan strategically placed to circulate the heat through the house. The cooling fan might use a bit of energy, but will warm the house quite quickly and you will use less energy overall.
