Extractor fans, heat lamps and heated towel rails

Rather than turn on your extractor fans, open a window. Windows only need to be open a little and its not as cold as you might think. Speaking of cold, don't use your heat lamps as they suck up loads of power. Keep your towel close and dry yourself off inside the shower cubicle once you have turned the water off, as the heat will still be retained within the closed cubicle. Since we have a wood burning fire, we warm up our towels in front of the fire on the clothes airer. Therefore no need to use a heated towel rail.
