fit double glazing to every home in NZ as standard the energy savings would be huge..........

Can you tell me some more about the double glazing on your wooden windows? I have a 100 year old Auckland villa and I'd like to do something to reduce heat loss without getting rid of my old window frames. What part of the country do you live in?

You can also double glaze your existing leadlights. Look up www.leadlights.co.nz they are specialised and use a unique technique.

I think many people don't know that they can install double glazing to old wooden windows. After I found out we have already replaced the kitchen windows and the bathroom window both don't have thermal curtains. Later on we will double gaze the whole house, it's a 100 year old villa.
