To help minimise dishes (therefore reducing hot water consumption), choose your favourite mug and re-use this, rather than using a new mug every time you make a hot drink.

We use a plastic washing up bowl inside our aluminium sink to wash dishes and veggies etc. The bowl uses less hot water and the plastic insulates so keeps water hotter for longer.
