Hot Water Cylinders

If no one is home during the day while you are at work, turn the hot water cylinder off before you leave for work and turn it on again when you get home.

Dry your clothing in front of your fire or heater at night, and then during the day in a hot water cupboard if you have one. This will save you money on laundromat costs, saving power as well.

Turn off your hot water cylinder, doesn't take too long to heat up on your return, or if you have a good neighbour they will do this for you, on your return date!!
