How to Enter

Visit www.powerofmany.co.nz. Fill in the online entry form and follow the entry process. Then you will be able to upload your stories and/or videos. All entries will be moderated for inappropriate content prior to being entered into the competition and the website gallery.

You may enter as many times as you like.

All entries must be received by 1st August 2008.

The winners will be notified by email.

Conditions of Entry

Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

Entry is open to all residents of New Zealand except for employees and contractors of Contact Energy and their immediate families.

Contact Energy reserves the right to extend, postpone, or cancel the competition and to update these terms and conditions on www.contactenergy.co.nz and/or www.powerofmany.co.nz without notice.

All entries become the property of Contact Energy.

Each winner’s name and photo may be used for publicity purposes and by accepting the prize each winner must make themselves available for publicity purposes.

Contact Energy may be required by law to disclose information you provide.

Personal details supplied by you will be used by Contact Energy for purposes relating to this competition and the promotion to you of Contact Energy’s goods and services only. You have the right to access and correct your personal information held by us.

Contact Energy's decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZE RELATED CONDITIONS

Winners

Each winner’s name will be posted on www.powerofmany.co.nz

In the event that a winner cannot be contacted by 31st August 2008 for whatever reason, another prize draw will be conducted and the prize allocated to a new winner.

Each prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.

Contact Energy reserves the right to request each prize winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Contact Energy.

All prize winners will be selected by Contact Energy, based on the approval of Contact Energy and the popularity of the submitted ideas related to their number of votes on www.powerofmany.co.nz

Contact Energy is not liable for any loss, damage or injury to any person in connection with the prize.

No prize is transferable or redeemable for cash.

Prizes

There are a number of prizes to be won.

Grand Prize (There will be one winner who will be notified by 15 August 2008):

Contact “Home Energy Makeover” to the value of $5,000.

Other Prizes (There will be three winners in each of the weeks ending 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th July 2008. Each of those weekly winners will be notified by email and will receive one of the prizes listed below, as selected by Contact Energy):
